Dr. S. Prasanna began her career as a Civil Assistant Surgeon in the Department of Medicine at ESI Hospital, Hyderabad. She later completed her DM in Neurology at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders.

After her studies, she worked as a Consultant Neurophysician at St. Theresa Hospital, Hyderabad, and also served as a Visiting Consultant Neurophysician at Medisys Hospital, Hyderabad. She additionally practiced as a Consultant Neurophysician at Sparsh Hospital, RR Nagar, Bengaluru, gaining further clinical expertise.

She is currently associated with Sagar Hospitals, Bengaluru, where she serves as a Consultant Neurologist.
