Dr, Manmeet completed his MBBS and went on to do a Masters in Surgery from the Government Medical College in Nagpur. His keen interests in Neurosciences lead him to pursue further super specialty training and obtain an MCh degree in Neurosurgery from the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram.

After finishing Neurosurgical training, he worked for 10 years at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, at various faculty positions where he tutored many Neurosurgery Residents. During this period, he operated on more than 3,000 patients with brain and spine issues, including skull-base tumors, C-P angle tumors, meningiomas, gliomas, intracranial aneurysms and AVMs (Arteriovenous Malformations), trigeminal neuralgia, craniovertebral junction anomalies and spine surgeries that ranged from simple discectomies to complex degenerative spine diseases requiring fusion.

He completed his certified training in Neurovascular Surgery at Helsinki University Hospital, Finland. He then went on to complete certified training at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre (UNMC) in order to acquire additional skills in vascular, endovascular and stereotactic neurosurgery.

Following his position as a Professor of Neurosurgery from St. John’s Hospital, Dr. Manmeet is presently associated with Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore, as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon where he is committed to maintaining a high standard of ethical, clinical and surgical practice.
